मुंबई, दि. 5 : फेब्रुवारी महिन्यात नवी दिल्ली – पुणे ‘हिंदयान’ सायकल स्पर्धा यशस्वीरित्या पूर्ण करणाऱ्या संरक्षण दलातील अधिकारी व जवानांचा राज्यपाल रमेश बैस यांच्या हस्ते बुधवारी (दि.५) राजभवन येथे पदक व प्रमाणपत्र देऊन सत्कार करण्यात आला.
‘हिंदयान फाऊंडेशन’ तर्फे या स्पर्धेचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. राज्यपालांच्या हस्ते यावेळी स्पर्धेसाठी सहकार्य करणाऱ्या अधिकाऱ्यांचा देखील सत्कार करण्यात आला.
भारतामध्ये देशव्यापी सायकल स्पर्धा होत नसून या दृष्टीने ‘हिंदयान’ने सुरु केलेला उपक्रम स्तुत्य आहे असे सांगून राज्यपालांनी सर्व स्पर्धक व आयोजकांचे अभिनंदन केले.
यावेळी हिंदयान फाऊंडेशनचे संस्थापक व सायकल स्पर्धेचे प्रवर्तक विष्णूदास चापके, अतिरिक्त पोलिस महासंचालक रवींद्र सिंघल, कर्नल विमल सेठी, लेफ्ट. कर्नल. एस. चौधरी, कॅप्टन जयशंकर व एमसीपीओ ऋषीकुमार हे उपस्थित होते.

Maharashtra Governor felicitates participants of ‘HindAyan’ Cycling Expedition
Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais felicitated the members of the Armed Forces who successfully completed the first ‘HindAyan Annual National Multi-Stage Cycling Race Cum Expedition’ at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Wed (5 April).
The Governor also felicitated the senior officers of the Government who supported the event. The Cycling Race and Expedition was organised between New Delhi and Pune by the HindAyan Foundation during February 5 – 19.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor complimented the team of HindAyan for introducing the nation wide Cycling Race in the country and complimented the participants from the Armed Forces for successfully completing the race.
Founder of HindAyan Vishnudas Chapke, Additional DGP Ravinder Singhal, Col Vimal Sethi, Lt Col S Chowdhury, Capt Jayasanker and MCPO Rishi Kumar were among those present.
