मुंबई, दि. 30 : हुतात्मा दिनानिमित्त राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी यांनी राज भवन येथे दोन मिनिटे मौन पाळून महात्मा गांधी तसेच हुतात्म्यांना आदरांजली वाहिली.
यावेळी ‘महात्मा गांधी यांच्या राजभवन भेटी’ या विषयावरील माहितीपट दाखविण्यात आला.
देशाच्या स्‍वातंत्र्यासाठी प्राणार्पण केलेल्या हुतात्म्यांप्रती आदर व्यक्त करण्यासाठी दरवर्षी ३० जानेवारी हा दिवस हुतात्मा दिन म्हणून पाळण्यात येतो.
राज्यपालांचे प्रधान सचिव संतोष कुमार, विशेष सचिव राकेश नैथानी, सहसचिव श्वेता सिंघल आणि उपसचिव प्राची जांभेकर तसेच राजभवनातील अधिकारी व कर्मचारी यावेळी उपस्थित होते.

Governor pays tribute to martyrs on Martyrs’ Day
Mumbai, 30th Jan : A 2-minute silence was observed by Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari as a mark of respect to Mahtma Gandhi and the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai today.
A documentary on ‘Mahatma Gandhi’s visits to Raj Bhavan’ was shown on the occasion.
30th January is observed as Martyrs’ Day in memory of the martyrs who laid down their lives for India’s Independence.
Prinicipal Secretary to the Governor Santosh Kumar, Special Secretary Rakesh Nainthani, Joint Secretary Shweta Singhal and Deputy Secretary Prachi Jambhekar, Officers and staff of Raj Bhavan were present.
